Yankees' Aaron Judge (toe) takes BP, runs in outfield--Trendyy khbrr
DENVER - - New York Yankees slugger Aaron Judge took batting practice and ran in the Coors Field outfield Friday as he recuperates from a torn tendon in his right huge toe.
"I sort of needed to test it here in the Mile High City a smidgen," Judge said before the Yankees played the Colorado Rockies in their most memorable game following the Top pick break. The supreme American Association MVP said he's been fitted with an insole for help.
New York director Aaron Boone said he's supported by Judge's advancement, both running and hitting. In July, he was asked if Judge could come back into the lineup.
Boone stated, "I think there's a shot." Presently is that going to be, 'Aaron Boone said he thinks he'll be back in July?' I did not say that. I was responding to a query. I won't put a time period on this. He is doing fine. When he's ready, he'll be there."
Judge is batting .291 with 19 homers, 40 RBI and a 1.078 Operations in 49 games. He has not played since he hit his toe into the right-field fence on June 3 while making a great catch at Dodger Stadium.
